In the U.S., Behcet's is more common in women than men. Pathergy reaction is uncommon in American patients.

Caucasian patients with no apparent link to Silk Road can also develop Behcet's. HLA-B5/B51 not required. Most test results normal.

Also, the genital ulcers are very painful in women, so please correct your info.

Symptoms come and go randomly; it is NOT necessary to have multiple symptoms at a time. It can take years to develop enough symptoms to confirm diagnosis, but 2-3 recurrent symptoms suggest probable Behcet's.

Arthritis and arthraligas fairly common, and can affect joints in legs, arms, all over. Usually non-destructive, but can be disabling.
